Merchandise Planner plans and forecasts for future merchandise buys based on historical buys, reoccurring buys and current inventory levels. Responsible for reviewing stock to sales ratios, responding to changing sales trends, and ensuring plan sales, plan markups, and plan markdowns are achieved by departments. Being a Merchandise Planner plans and coordinates merchandise flow-through. Inputs and maintains data in various merchandising systems. Additionally, Merchandise Planner may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Merchandise Planner gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Tetra Tech is looking for a Planner to function as part of our Federal Master Planning Team, providing support and planning expertise for DoD and other Federal planning and asset management projects. The Planner will be responsible for assisting Project Managers and other Federal Master Planning personnel with organizing planning workshops, conducting complex planning analysis, and authoring planning reports. Successful candidates will be familiar with common planning principles such as form-based codes, traditional land use and zoning, as well as sustainable/resilience planning strategies. Must be able to plan, prepare, and develop documents in compliance with Local, State, Federal, and DoD policies. Due to the nature of our clients, US citizenship is required.

Qualifications:
Candidates need to be effective verbal and nonverbal communicators. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, etc.) is required. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, preferred. Desire to acquire AICP (when professional experience minimums have been satisfied) preferred, but not required. All candidates are required to have the ability to pass a security/background check and security clearance investigation.
Colorado Wage: $60,000 – 85,000
