Merchandise Planner plans and forecasts for future merchandise buys based on historical buys, reoccurring buys and current inventory levels. Responsible for reviewing stock to sales ratios, responding to changing sales trends, and ensuring plan sales, plan markups, and plan markdowns are achieved by departments. Being a Merchandise Planner plans and coordinates merchandise flow-through. Inputs and maintains data in various merchandising systems. Additionally, Merchandise Planner may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Merchandise Planner gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Key Responsibilities 
    Accountable for running the Distribution Requirement Planning. 
    Define and update the Replenishment Strategy and the Supply Chain Parameters, as

    Contribute to the SIOP by preparing and leading the end to end Supply Reviews. 
    Acts like an Owner by proactively identifying manufacturing supply risks working
    collaboratively with key stake holders to propose mitigation plan. 
    Plan & ensure inventory ramp up / down linked to strategic inventory, industrial
    transfers, commercial event, new product introduction and end of life. 
    Clearly and concisely communicates with all partners by simplifying complex
    situations enabling rapid decision-making and forward progress. 
    Requires a strong leadership and a global understanding of the end to end supply
    chain planning processes to bring a positive customer impact through optimized
    inventory projections and supply risk mitigation.

    with all internal contacts. 
    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as attention to detail 
    Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and
    recommend proper automation opportunities 
    Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive team leader who welcomes challenges

    Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain, Statistics,
    Economics, Operations, or Business


    5 years of experience in Supply chain Planning 
    Possess a good level of understanding of End to End Supply Chain Planning and
    global supply chain concepts 
    Experience in Kinaxis, SAP and Tableau 
    Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills required 
    High proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
