Primary Responsibilities:

• Spending one on one time with crop care workers to train, and ensure that greenhouse standards are being met
• Supervising yearly activities such as clean-out and planting of new crop when required
• Resolving work-related issues using company procedures
• Preparing and submitting quality reports
• Completing Employee Reviews

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
• Proficient with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and internet navigation
• Effective verbal and written communication- Bilingual in Spanish is highly desired.
• Ability to take a leadership role and display personal initiative.
• Attention to detail
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with/manage 25 employees
• Strong training and coaching skills
• General understanding or ability to be trained on the Priva Assist/FS labor system or similar.
• Ability to work rotating weekends & holidays

Work Environment Requirements:

• Physically capable of regular greenhouse activities – including walking, lifting, bending, and withstanding periods of high heat
• Working at various heights of up to 12 feet with the use of a scissor lift
• Use of various hand tools and motorized equipment
• Heavy lifting up to 40lbs.
• Working around bees
