Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Produce Associate to join our team. As a Produce Associate, you will be responsible for ensuring the freshness and quality of our produce department. Your main duties will include stocking and organizing produce, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Duties:
- Communicate with team members to ensure proper stocking and rotation of produce items
- Clean and maintain the produce department, including display cases, shelves, and storage areas
- Assist customers in selecting and bagging produce items
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns
- Use pallet jack to move pallets of produce as needed
- Sell products by explaining features, benefits, and nutritional information
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and special offers
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Strong attention to detail in stocking, organizing, and rotating produce items
