Sirna & Sons Produce, A FreshEdge LLC company, is hiring Non CDL Local Drivers in Norwalk, OH. Sirna & Sons Produce is a fourth-generation, family run, wholesale food distributor. We distribute our fresh arrivals of produce, dairy and specialty items 6 days a week to restaurants, hotels, country clubs, schools and institutions throughout Ohio, Central Pennsylvania, and Northern West Virginia. Compensation:

• Average annual earning range: $42,000 - $55,000
  • Hourly Base Rate with 45-50 average hours per week
  • Overtime is paid after 40 hours worked
• Additional Pay Incentives:
  • Performance Increase: Eligible after 90 days

Home Time, Schedule & Route:

• Home Time: Home daily
• Schedule: Monday - Saturday (5-6 days per week)
  • Work every Saturday and off every Sunday and one other day off during the week
• Shift: Typically 8-12 hour shifts with start times varying typically between 3am-5am (until work is done)
• Route: Deliver to cities across OH
  • Routes can be 15-25 stops per day
  • Deliver 300 cases per day (up/down stairs at some locations)
• Level of Touch: Touch Freight, load & unload
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull 50lbs with no assistance
  • Be able to use 2-wheel dolly

Equipment:

• Freightliner M2 Trucks, International MV607 (2019-2024) and Ford F-550 Trucks

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be an eligible For-Hire Driver or have a CDL D license or greater (no endorsement required)
  • Drivers with a CDL A, B or C may still apply
• 1 year of driving experience is preferred but not required
• 0 DUI/DWI are allowed
• Must have no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years and proven safe PSP Score
• Must have no more than 2 preventable accidents in the past 3 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations 
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen 
• Must be able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions: hot, cold, dust, indoors and outdoors
• Drivers must live within a 40 mile radius of Norwalk, OH or be willing to relocate for position
