Merchandising Manager manages merchandising operations and develops and executes merchandising plans to deliver volume and profit goals. Develops effective merchandising plans for categories and locations, utilizing data representing customer insights, consumer trends, buying patterns, sales and inventory metrics, forecasting, and competitive landscape. Being a Merchandising Manager collaborate with marketing, finance, and buying to Identify new suppliers and products that reflect consumer preferences and drive sales. Coaches and mentors merchandising staff to produce product assortments that reflect branding, buying trends and support seasonal customer demand. Additionally, Merchandising Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, merchandising, business or other related field. Typically reports to a director. The Merchandising Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Merchandising Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     All about the role:

    Join our dynamic team as Merchandising Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in collaborating with the Commercial Director to craft innovative merchandising and sales promotion tactics. Your impact will extend across channels, driving effective sales execution.

    In this role, you will be responsible for strategic planning, working cross functionally with the Product Line and Sales teams to develop and implement merchandising and sales promotion strategies aligned with the Product Line's annual budget ambitions.


    You'll take charge of overseeing the promotion and commercial go to market plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Your expertise will be crucial in driving impactful business results across all product lines and Electrolux brands.

    Your role will also involve seamless collaboration with the Marketing, Product and Sales teams, fostering a collaborative environment and maximizing shared business outcomes. Your strategic input will contribute to the success of our various product lines and brands.


    As a key contributor, you will lead the merchandising efforts for the assigned Product Line, contributing to their success and market presence.

    What you'll do:

    • Coordinate and communicate withmarketing, pricing and sales U.S merchandising activities.

    • Develop and distribute formal quarterly Go-To-Market plans.

    • Maintain consistent Electrolux Major Appliances Brand & Product line logics, competitive market line logics for comparison and planning, including gap analysis on categories candidate is responsible for.

    • Participate in generation plan reviews for understanding of opportunities, integration into the Electrolux Major Appliances merchandising line logic and communications.

    • Analysis of market data (AHAM, Traqline, NPD, Market Track, RSI, Yipit, and floor data) to assist in creating winning merchandising communications, compelling promotional campaigns and product focused initiatives.

    • Analyze post promotion results for achievement of predicted return on investment for sales revenue and desired profit margin. Will also provide regular market data updates from the market data analysis for communication across functions.

    • Participate in developing effective national merchandising efforts with sufficient lead times to enable successful co-marketing.

    Qualifications required:

    • Bachelor's degree in related field required.

    • 2 to 5 years of combined sales, marketing or merchandising experience

    • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to thrive in a global "matrix" organization.
