Creates and optimizes the product assortments and categories for the online product catalog. Being an Merchandising Manager - Web utilizes analytics to monitor traffic, customer behavior, sales trends, and feedback and to gain customer insights. Ensures that merchandise plans support key strategic initiatives, launches, top sellers, seasonal campaigns and trends. Additionally, Merchandising Manager - Web collaborates on the development of open to buy inventory (OTB) and purchasing plans and budgets. Recommends site and usability enhancements. Requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, merchandising, business or other related field. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Merchandising Manager - Web manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Merchandising Manager - Web typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.   • We are currently looking to add a Project Manager to our team who has experience delivering digital or web based projects on time and in budget. You enjoy collaborating and managing various teams to a schedule, working closely with your clients to keep them informed and updated throughout the project lifecycle.

    What you will be doing in this role

    • Working with one of our cross functional development squads, implementing projects for our clients in the US. We are a global company and you will have dispersed teams
    • Support the team in planning, optimizing and prioritizing; ensuring that projects are delivered on time, effectively utilizing each squad member while delivering exceptional value for our customers
    • Embody the agile mindset, utilizing lean project management tools and methods to take care of their squad and project delivery based on best industry practices.
    • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
    • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements and track project costs to meet budget
    • Determine and define project scope and objectives and develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
    • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
    • Promote collaborative working, especially with the customer

    Ideally you will have

    • Experience as a project manager from the IT/Tech consulting/digital agency industry working with external clients
    • Ideally you have experience delivering website, digital, CMS or Digital Experience related projects (SDLC)
    • Demonstrable experience applying Agile principles to project delivery
    • Experience working with common industry tools; JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet (or equivalent)
    • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline
    • Strong experience managing project budgets (with a focus on fixed price)
    • Experience dealing with client escalations as the main point of contact
    • Experience in an agency or consulting type environment where multi projects, team utilisation etc is common
    • Outstanding presentation and relationship building skills and very comfortable to present and communicate at senior levels
    • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices
    • Strong interpersonal and creative problem solving skills

    * Please note this is not a marketing project manager role. This role requires experience managing web based development projects. Websites, intranets, portals etc.
