Ensures that merchandise plans support key strategic initiatives, launches, top sellers, seasonal campaigns and trends.     Typical duties include:

    • Regularly help and support other team members on the team
    • Taking direction and executing with minimal supervision
    • Building specialty fixtures, beam racking, gondolas, and various displays
    • Basic carpentry skills 
    • Proper building, moving and leveling of gondolas and racking using methods directed by the manufacturer
    • Read a fixture plan to determine correct placement of all fixtures
    • Install overhead signage, aisle markers and other pieces of store décor packages
    • Setting shelves, peg hooks, shelf strips and price labels and stocking merchandise according to a planogram
    • Collaborating with team members and working effectively as a group

    Qualifications


    Qualifications:

    • Have multiple years’ experience installing fixtures in a large box retail store environment and can demonstrate a proficiency to complete merchandising and fixture installation accurately and timely
    • Can demonstrate clear understanding of industry standard fixture installation
    • Experienced in developing, training others and make valuable contributions in a team environment
    • General carpentry skills
    • Ability to read and interpret new store and remodel construction drawings, blueprints, and planograms.
    • Own and demonstrate safe usage of basic power tools, hand tools (list will be provided)
    • Power equipment and lift experience and certification a plus
    • The ability to get along with others and make valuable contributions to an amazing team
    • Be Reliable! Commit to working the assigned hours provided on the project schedule
    • The desire and ability to travel! You will need personal, reliable transportation (we do not provide rentals and public transportation will not suffice in this line of work)
    • Ability to safely stand, bend, stoop, kneel and climb ladders up to 20 feet high and have strength to pull, push and lift materials and products up to 50 pounds consistently
    • Ability to pass national background check and random drug screenings and have a valid driver’s license and government issued ID
    • Willingness to take on other responsibilities as assigned to get job done right
