Creates and optimizes the product assortments and categories for the online product catalog. Being an Merchandising Manager - Web utilizes analytics to monitor traffic, customer behavior, sales trends, and feedback and to gain customer insights. Ensures that merchandise plans support key strategic initiatives, launches, top sellers, seasonal campaigns and trends. Additionally, Merchandising Manager - Web collaborates on the development of open to buy inventory (OTB) and purchasing plans and budgets. Recommends site and usability enhancements. Requires a bachelor's degree in marketing, merchandising, business or other related field. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Merchandising Manager - Web manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be an Merchandising Manager - Web typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are looking for a Merchandising Manager. Great opportunity to travel and see new places with overnight travel incorporated into the schedule. Must be able to travel frequently, with overnight hotel stays.This position will be responsible for the assigned geographic area, including the development, growth, management, and execution of all merchandising business for Merchandising Services Co.
Potential candidates should possess the following:- The manager is required to possess and safely operate an insured personal vehicle suitable and appropriate for the job. (a truck, van, SUV, or car capable of pulling your own trailer with a hitch)
- High school diploma/GED required; Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred
- Prefer 3 or more years in Beverage (CSD/Beer) industry background. Including resets and merchandising of beverage coolers and center store products. However, we will train the right candidates.
- Prior management and/or recruiting experience desired.
- Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Required to possess a smartphone device capable of submitting payroll and reports.
- Must possess a PC or laptop.
- Must be able to travel frequently as described above within your assigned business unit or other MSCO territories as needed.
