Merchant Card Customer Service Manager manages a team of merchant card customer service representatives. Establishes service standards and monitoring processes to identify and resolve performance issues with team or service systems and procedures. Being a Merchant Card Customer Service Manager provides development and training that ensure the team is prepared to provide efficient service. Coordinates with other internal functions to provide any technical or other services that are needed.     This is a full-time, non-exempt-level position.

     DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Answer inbound phone calls for scheduling.
    • Support team in scheduling service maintenance, breakdown, and new equipment replacement.
    • Handle inbound email/web portal inquiries for scheduling.
    • Outbound phone calls to existing clients to for scheduling.
    • Assist sales the sales team in reporting, educating clients on our products and services, scheduling sales appointments, and tracking sales performance.
    • Act as a liaison between the customer and company, making sure that customer needs are met while maintaining a positive, productive open line of communication between the customer and all company departments.

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Dedicated to providing superior customer service.
    • Exceptional phone and interpersonal skills.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Able to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Strong judgment skills to make sound business decisions and resolve issues clearly, calmly, and diplomatically.
    • Ability to talk and type accurately; typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel.
    • 2-3 years of customer service experience with heavy call volume.
    • Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check.
    • Bilingual Spanish is a plus

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    • Regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and type.
    • Speaking and hearing ability; heavy communication through talking and listening to employees and clients directly and through telephone conversations to resolve issues.
    • Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
    • Occasionally required to stand; walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
    • May lift and/or move up to 10 pounds occasionally.
    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
