Merchant Card Sales Manager manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a region. Designs and recommends sales programs for the merchant card department and sets short and long-term sales strategies. Being a Merchant Card Sales Manager evaluates and implements appropriate new card sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume. May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Additionally, Merchant Card Sales Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Merchant Card Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Merchant Card Sales Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     About the role:


    In a Sales Executive - Merchant - Quota Carrier role, you will work as a member of a sales team to find new opportunities for continued growth. This will include providing industry-leading payment solutions to prospective clients, which could include small- and medium-sized business as well as large, enterprise businesses.

    What you will be doing:


    • Act as the strategic sales thread while consulting with prospects at the owner and C-suite level.
    • Leverage referred leads and self-cultivated leads to nurture your pipeline.
    • Connecting with prospects to help improve their experience, cash flow, and bottom line.
    • Collaborate with sales teams and focusing on growing the existing customer base.

    Sells through a specific channel with his/her own accounts or working on a team.

    Responsible for small- to medium-sized accounts or have a small- or medium-sized quota/territory.

    What you will need:


    • At least 2 to 4 years of sales experience including research, discovering needs, recommending solutions and solving business problems.
    • Experience in technology solutions is helpful, as is a background in the payments industry.
    • A consultative approach that’s successful with C-suite and business owners.

    • Exhibits a level of professional expertise and applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.

    • Has working knowledge of Worldpay company products and services.

The pay range for this full-time position is $39,840.00 - $65,740.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
