Merchant Card Sales Manager manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a region. Designs and recommends sales programs for the merchant card department and sets short and long-term sales strategies. Being a Merchant Card Sales Manager evaluates and implements appropriate new card sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume. May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Additionally, Merchant Card Sales Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Merchant Card Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Merchant Card Sales Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     • Develop and/or assist in administration of programs to improve the employee experience.
    • Assist in the design, implementation, improvement, and administration of employee policies and procedures.
    • Process and manager benefit programs (FMLA, STD, and Workers Comp) for all employees.
    • Conduct internal investigations and report findings
    • Assist in the coordination and administration of various training programs for employees
    • Track and report HR metrics (absenteeism, turnover, labor hours, payroll).
    • Lead implementation of new systems
    • Experience managing people
    • Complete other duties as assigned

    Required Education, Skills & Abilities:

    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources, ideally in manufacturing.
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher required
    • Up to date with HR best practices and current regulations
    • Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Google Docs, and advanced HRIS skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • High level of professionalism and discretion
