Merchant Card Sales Manager manages and directs a sales force to achieve sales and profit goals within a region. Designs and recommends sales programs for the merchant card department and sets short and long-term sales strategies. Being a Merchant Card Sales Manager evaluates and implements appropriate new card sales techniques to increase the region's sales volume. May recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential. Additionally, Merchant Card Sales Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Merchant Card Sales Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Merchant Card Sales Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Product Manager, Upgrade Card

    What You'll Do:

    • Define and implement key initiatives for Upgrade’s credit card product, the Upgrade Card, including critical platform features and growth initiatives
    • Work closely with the internal teams and third-party vendors to monitor, troubleshoot and solve issues across the business 
    • Define new products and features with specs, wireframes, and product flows.
    • Work cross-functionally to define, develop, launch and scale our product.
    • Analyze the impact of product features and define key metrics for success.


    What We Look For: 

    • 2 years of product management experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
    • Ability to lead and resolve questions across organizational stakeholders.
    • Fluency with product development tools, SQL, web analytics and A/B testing software.


    Nice to Have: 

    • Experience in financial services and credit card programs preferred. 
    • Previous experience as an analyst/data analyst/product analyst.

    The compensation range of this position in San Francisco, CA is USD $160,000 - $180,000 annually plus equity and benefits. Within this range, an individual's base pay will be dependent on a variety of factors, including without limitation, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
