Processes refunds to the merchant or cardholder; Tracks chargebacks and refers fraudulent activity to the appropriate department. Being a Merchant Chargeback Analyst may require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Merchant Chargeback Analyst works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Work is closely managed.
