JOB DESCRIPTION
Senior Rebate System Analyst / SME is responsible for managing all the System analysis aspects including but not limited to - creating Functional specifications Document, System Design documents, Requirements, Requirements traceability documentation and provide support to ancillary teams (e.g. QA, Technical writers) supporting the Conduent Medicaid Drug Rebate product.
The role entails ensuring product documentation is actively updated and manage in a document management tools. The role will report into a Senior Manager / Product Owner and help implement new product requirements and product vision statements in the Rebate solution.
This calls for hands on experience with creating business process diagrams, Use Cases, Visio diagrams, BPMN based diagrams, Powerpoint presentations, Word documents or similar documentation.
Ability to understand the data structure of the application including creating SQL queries to extract data for analysis is important for this role.
Candidate should have the aptitude to learn business processes at a detail level to fulfill the role of a techno-functional SME.
Strong experience with Rebate, PBM and/or accounting systems is a strong plus.
Additional Job Responsibilities
Lead and Mentor junior business analysts
Perform business system impact analysis, application feature release planning
Create and maintain System specifications and/or design documents
Help resolve business queries issues, provide technical support for medical drug rebate system
Assist in the identification and implementation of improved methods, procedures and workflows.
Coordinate requirements gathering with internal and external customers while maintaining focus on solutions, deadlines, and professionalism.
Demonstrate flexibility and ability to handle a variety of assignments in various stages at the same time.
Research identified issues and reports to management with complete problem definition, evaluation, and potential solution(s).
Operates independently and react rapidly in a complex organizational environment with daily customer interchange.
Develop effective day-to-day working relationships with internal and external clients.
Handle multiple demands and competing priorities with minimal direct supervision.
Preferred Qualification:
8 years of experience with Medicaid Rebate and related CMS regulations or lesser experience tied to strong accounting background.
