Additionally, Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst prepares required documentation. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings. Assists with project management activities. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interprets and accurately applies guidelines to standard funding packages, while checking for accuracy, acceptability and completeness, after successful completion of training, identifies exceptions to guidelines and determines the risk inherent to those exceptions, and makes the decision whether to fund the transaction.
Assists, corresponds and communicates with brokers, vendors, lessee/borrowers and co-workers regarding funding and documentation questions and concerns.
Verifies company's yield is met on each transaction and commissions are within guidelines.
Judges the accuracy of verbal statements and questionable written documents.
Orders and evaluates on-site inspection verifications and reports.
