Summary
The Interface Analyst, working under the supervision of the Applications Systems Manager, is responsible for interface development and application integration, interface maintenance, support, security, user training, documentation, customer service and communication, and serves as a strategic departmental Colleague.
The Interface Analyst designs, develops, tests, and implements application interfaces utilizing a variety of software packages and tools. The Interface Analyst meets with Colleagues throughout the organization to plan and implement application interfaces and is a primary vendor contact for interface projects. This position addresses the day-to-day operational requirements of integration/interface support including programming, database building/maintenance, capacity planning, and the monitoring of queues, system availability, system utilization, and response time. Actively participates in the development and on-going evaluation of end user training and in-service programs, as appropriate.
Accountability is measured by performance evaluation, project goal achievement within stated time frame as well as work plan completion. Work schedule may include hours other than Monday through Friday or regular office hours. Work schedule includes taking On Call after hours support for the organization.
