Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst compiles and analyzes data required for merger, acquisition, and divestiture projects. Performs integrated revenue/expense analysis. Being a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst develops projections, reports, and presentations of the impact of a merger/acquisition on the organization. Performs financial forecasting and modeling. Additionally, Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst prepares required documentation. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings. Assists with project management activities. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Primary function: Provide functional analysis and software/web application support to all users with priority focus on the college’s two main enterprise systems; Ellucian Colleague (Student Information System) and Technolutions SLATE (student recruitment CRM). Duties include programming, database management, data integrity analysis, systems analysis, business analysis, and Business Intelligence (BI) report creation and modifications. Also, design, code, test, and debug home grown, 3rd party, web and mobile applications. Assist with system administration and user training, and work with internal and external departmental teams to deliver stable, reliable, and flexible systems and services to support all application needs.
Required Qualifications:
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information or Data Science, or a related area of study, or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum five years of experience in programming and analysis in Enterprise systems, MS SQL database, along with web and mobile application development. Experience and proficiency with any of the following is preferred: Report programming (Microsoft BI or equivalent), Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), MS SQL Server, Access, T-SQL, SharePoint, HTML, ASP .NET, Visual Basic (VBA), C#, JavaScript, MVC, Web API, XML, CSS, PowerShell scripting. Experience in the following would be a plus: Technolutions Slate administration, web server administration, Envision, Unibasic, Unidata, SQL Server Management Studio and developing with iOS, Android, Windows, or Open-Source web and mobile software.
