Additionally, Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst prepares required documentation. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings. Assists with project management activities. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. This role will be responsible for supporting Optum Care in business combinations and strategic growth initiatives by assisting in the evaluation and execution of healthcare services mergers, acquisitions, and partnership opportunities in the western United States. The Analyst will work closely with teammates and leaders across all functions of the business, including strategy, finance, and operations. The Analyst will collaborate with a group of highly motivated teammates and be expected to successfully manage simultaneous work streams and effectively communicate analysis results among the team and with senior executives.
This position is hybrid; the on-site time will be spent at Optum’s corporate office located in El Segundo, CA. Candidate is expected to be on-site between 2-4 days per week. Candidate must be willing to travel to the office when required for intermittent meetings. Position also requires 10% - 20% travel within area.

California Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
