Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst compiles and analyzes data required for merger, acquisition, and divestiture projects. Performs integrated revenue/expense analysis. Being a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst develops projections, reports, and presentations of the impact of a merger/acquisition on the organization. Performs financial forecasting and modeling. Additionally, Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst prepares required documentation. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings. Assists with project management activities. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     Summary:

    Under general direction, the Systems Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, training, documentation, operation, and support of the assigned applications. Acts as a business liaison to the end-user departments within Middlesex Health System. Team player who assists client departments by analyzing data, processes, and needs of the department and proactively makes process re-design recommendations to improve performance. Acts as a technology scout for end-user departments.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    4 years experience in the implementation and support of Financial/Clinical applications, preferably in a healthcare environment. Must be proficient in system design, analysis, testing, and project management methodologies. Demonstrated experience building reports using tools such as Crystal Reports, MS SQL, Cache, and/or Oracle. PC software skills such as Microsoft Access, Excel and Project. Bachelor of Science degree preferred in computer science or related area. Relevant experience can be substituted for college degree. Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills.
