Additionally, Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst prepares required documentation. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings. Assists with project management activities. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Job Description
Under the general direction of the Assistant Provost, the Data Analyst will support institutional research and strategic decision making by developing and improving data-driven analyses and analytic reporting. The incumbent will work with a variety of data types: student, faculty/staff, finance, financial aid to support university operational functions and reporting requirements for federal and state agencies, rankings, and surveys. The incumbent will assist in the design, development, and maintenance of databases, dashboards, data visualizations, and automated reports. The successful candidate will need a strong consultative skillset and be able to develop professional relationships with other campus units in order to understand processes and needs, and use this knowledge to identify opportunities for collaboration and project development.
