Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst jobs in Waco, TX

Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst compiles and analyzes data required for merger, acquisition, and divestiture projects. Performs integrated revenue/expense analysis. Being a Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst develops projections, reports, and presentations of the impact of a merger/acquisition on the organization. Performs financial forecasting and modeling. Additionally, Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst prepares required documentation. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings. Assists with project management activities. Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Gaining exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function.     THE CITY OF WACO SEEKS:
    An individual who builds, analyzes, and interprets complex data sets to provide valuable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes. This role will also work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations. 

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    Required:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
    • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, with a strong track record of delivering insights and solutions from data and establishing data governance.
    • Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License
    Preferred:
    • 2 or more years working experience with GiS and municipal data systems
    • 2 or more years SQL, Cloud, and/or HTML experience
