As a Senior Financial Analyst within Scout’s M&A Group, you will be responsible for supporting the origination, evaluation, negotiation, and closing of acquisitions of utility-scale wind, solar, and storage projects to supplement Scout’s ambitious deployment targets. Your ability to evaluate projects, on both a quantitative and qualitative basis will be the mark of success in this role.
You will be responsible for project-based financial modeling and the preparation of investment committee materials to assist investment decisions.
In addition to financial analysis, the ideal candidate will have the desire to “know enough to be dangerous” about topics ranging from energy markets, project engineering, construction, development, to key legal issues that impact the investment analysis of a particular project.
While the bulk of your work will focus on project-level deals, you will also analyze development platforms from time to time.
