Mergers and Acquisitions Manager evaluates an organization's opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures and oversees M&A project management processes including due diligence, financial planning, scoping, closing, and integration. Coordinates research and analysis activities required to assess strategic impact and risk. Being a Mergers and Acquisitions Manager develops financial models used to estimate cash flow and the potential for profitability. Collaborates with key stakeholders. Additionally, Mergers and Acquisitions Manager may participate in negotiations. Typically requires a MBA or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Mergers and Acquisitions Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Mergers and Acquisitions Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     The Phoenix office of Lewis Roca seeks a Partner level candidate to join our corporate practice. Must have 8 years of corporate transactional experience. Experience handling Mergers and Acquisitions required. Equity financing (venture capital and private equity) and general corporate work is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a portable book of business that they are looking to grow, have a strong acumen for leadership and a desire to join a thriving office. This is an exciting opportunity to expand upon your current client base, while also assisting our current client base within Arizona. Must be admitted to the Arizona bar or be eligible for admission. California, Colorado and/or Nevada bar would be a plus.

    Compensation for this position will depend on numerous factors including book of business, anticipated yearly billable hours and experience.
