    The Role
    Reporting to the General Manager, the Maintenance Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functionality, safety, and cleanliness of Zero Bond, a premier private members’ club. 

    Responsibilities include:

    • Conducts daily property walkthroughs identifying maintenance needs. 
    • Performing preventative maintenance on building systems, including plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and control systems, ensuring compliance with brand standards for quality & performance.
    • Repairing and maintaining facility systems and components, such as plumbing, electrical systems, door hardware, and HVAC systems.
    • Conducting regular inspections of equipment to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
    • Coordinating maintenance of kitchen equipment and ensures a safe and optimal operation.
    • Collaborating with contractors or vendors for repair projects as needed, monitoring their work to ensure compliance with facility maintenance standards.
    • Training and mentoring less-skilled staff in facilities maintenance trades.
    • Maintaining electronic records of preventative maintenance and repair activities to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of Zero Bond, including peak times and events.
    • Proficiency in performing routine maintenance and repairs on club facilities, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural systems.
    • Ability to conduct regular inspections and promptly address maintenance issues to uphold safety and quality standards.
    • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and external contractors.
    • Knowledge of local and state building codes and compliance with safety regulations.
    • Physical ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, navigate stairs, service ramps, and ladders, and perform various physical tasks associated with maintenance work.
    • Willingness to work varying schedules, including holidays and weekends, to meet the business needs of the club.
