Performs analysis and tests to aid in the development of new and improved metals and alloys as well as their applications to various products. Performs hydraulic, hydrologic and engineering analyses, field inspections, planning, and design work under supervision or general direction towards the completion of Water Resources projects. Works under direct supervision and mentorship from four senior engineers in the Oakland office. This position requires a strong passion for hydrology and hydraulics, an interest in performing field inspections, and proficiency in GIS and CAD software. Key responsibilities may include conducting studies, modeling, and designing drainage infrastructure, or floodplain mapping.
