Troubleshoots variety of equipment used in capsule manufacturing and facility / building systems. Replace worn parts, repair and maintain machines.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be mechanically inclined and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

This is an off shift position.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :

ØExperience in a GMP regulated environment desired and must have worked as a mechanic for manufacturing equipments.

ØFacility maintenance experience a plus

ØStrong technical ability and mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions.

ØHigh school or technical school diploma. With Strong math and reading skills essential.?

ØMinimum of 3-5 years previous experience as a Mechanic in the pharmaceutical / solid dosage environment is preferred

ØMust have strong verbal and written command of the English Language.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

ØTroubleshoot production and facility equipment.

ØAnalyze mechanical / electrical and operational problems and take corrective action.?

ØTests equipment for quality operation when maintenance is completed.?

ØPerform preventive maintenance of equipment.

ØAdvises supervisors of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action required.?

ØTroubleshoot production equipment and analyze mechanical or operational problems and take corrective action.?

ØBasic three phase electrical knowledge. Good mechanical skills. Basic machine shop, welding skills. Work with minimum supervision to complete assigned tasks.

ØAbility to be stand for long periods of time, climb ladders and work outdoors as needed.

ØBe open to a shift transition and overtime.
