Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Utility Office Manager, the Backflow/Meter Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining backflow prevention devices and overseeing the backflow prevention program. The Backflow/Water Meter Tech will also be responsible for installing, testing, reading, and repairing water meters, completing work orders for special readings, connecting and disconnecting water services, and performing related duties as required.
