Job Description:
Responsibilities
Growing & maintaining bacteriological cultures
Conducting antimicrobial tests (ISO 22196, TM100, ASTM2149, etc.) on prototype materials
Adapting existing antibacterial procedures and international standards to develop in-house tests for evaluating new materials
Troubleshooting microbiology results to evaluate our chemical processes and surface modification
Planning and executing QA on client projects
Presenting test results on a regular basis
Qualifications
min. Bachelor's or Master's in microbiology or a related field
Prior laboratory experience
Familiarity with microbiological techniques (serial dilutions, plating, colony counts)
Ability to plan and organize experiments/projects
Driven self-starter able to work independently
Strong verbal/written communication skills
Optional: experience with standardized tests (ISO 22196, TM100, ASTM2149, etc.)
Optional: experience with fluorescence microscopy or flow cytometry
Optional: Basic knowledge in chemistry
