Physicians Mutual is looking to hire an Assistant Market/Product Specialist.  This opportunity will support the development, marketing, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of assigned products or markets. 

What you will do in this role:

• Reviews marketing and training materials for product accuracy
• Compiles and organizes information and research necessary to inform all phases of product development
• Generates creative product and marketing ideas and stimulates creativity in others
• Supports development of marketing strategy and changes to current strategy to improve Company results
• Organize findings and make formal presentations as required
• Represent the Division or Department Manager in Corporate meetings or presentations as assigned
• Works with various departments to determine standards for new products or markets
• Provides support for other areas of the company to increase revenue, decrease expenses, ensure compliance and improve overall customer experience

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in areas such as business, marketing or insurance or an equivalent level of training is preferred
• Minimum of 4-7 years of insurance related experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong Analytical, decision-making and creative thinking skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to effectively train and direct employees in other divisions or departments of the company
