Middleware Engineer performs design, development, installation, tuning, and maintenance of middleware applications. Provisions platforms and infrastructure with middleware solutions. Being a Middleware Engineer analyzes requirements to implement effective middleware architecture, resolve technical issues, and optimize performance. Defines and documents technical designs and system configurations. Additionally, Middleware Engineer coordinates with application development and cross-functional technical teams to enable and support middleware integrations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Middleware Engineer works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. π Key Responsibilities π- Conduct site investigations to assess soil and rock conditions- Perform geotechnical analysis and calculations- Design foundations, retaining structures, and slope stabilization systems- Collaborate with project teams to integrate geotechnical considerations- Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to geotechnical specifications- Prepare clear and concise reports and recommendations
- Track budgets & project financials for accuracy; invoice clients appropriately.
- Maintain positive business relationships with clients, government officials, contractors, etc.
- Participate in professional meetings and/or business development functions as needed.

- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering required
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Geotechnical Engieering
- Professional Engineer (PE) License, preference to State of Georgia

Experience in geotechnical investigations, geotechnical (or related) reports, defining testing plans, interpreting test data, performing engineering analyses for foundation design, drilling, boring plan layout, site preparation issues, slope stability and seismic hazard evaluations, structural special inspections
