Fibrix Filtration is looking to fill the role of Quality Engineer. The Quaility Engineer is responsible for maintaining ISO certification, tracking all customer product quality issues and maintaining all current operating procedures.

JOB TYPE: Full-time

DAILY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure maintenance of the Quality Management System to meet and exceed ISO 9001:2015 accreditation requirements
• Coordinate and maintain ISO internal auditing schedule.
• Maintain Statistical Process Control systems for plant production lines.
• Monitor and track the corrective action system for all internally and externally identified issues.
• Aid R and D in management of change documentation including maintenance and ownership of the ECN process.
• Work directly with customers on resolving customer complaints. Timely closure of complaints and recommendations on credits to customers when needed.
• Provide customer feedback to production for review and implementation of preventative and corrective actions as required.
• Prepares assigned monthly KPIs by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data
• Aid the QC Lab Supervisor in maintaining Certificates of Analysis as needed
• Assist manufacturing departments in developing Control Plans and Work Instructions in accordance to process flows, quality system’s procedures and customer requirements.
• Leads problem solving activities as required for customer or internal quality issues
• Maintain the document control system and train the production team on proper usage
• Statistical analysis of product performance.
• Perform special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• 5-10 yr. experience in quality assurance or quality control.   
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• ISO Auditor or related experience. 
• Analytical skills.
• Problem solver orientation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and computer skills.
• Influencing and leadership competencies.
