Being a Middleware Specialist analyzes requirements to implement effective middleware architecture, resolve technical issues, and optimize performance. Defines and documents technical designs and system configurations. Additionally, Middleware Specialist coordinates with application development and cross-functional technical teams to enable and support middleware integrations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Middleware Specialist work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Responsibilities:
- Provide academic support and intervention to students in need
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to develop individualized intervention plans
- Utilize learning management systems (LMS) to track student progress and communicate with stakeholders
- Write progress reports and maintain accurate documentation of interventions
- Implement strategies to support childhood development and improve literacy skills
- Assist with conflict management and behavior interventions as needed
- Support physical education activities and promote a healthy lifestyle
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment for all students
- Provide additional math support for students struggling in this subject area
- Collaborate with special education staff to ensure the needs of students with disabilities are met
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in education or related field
- Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in a school setting
- Strong knowledge of childhood development and literacy education strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage conflicts and resolve issues
- Experience with using learning management systems (LMS)
- Familiarity with special education practices and accommodations
