Programmer/Analyst

Shift 5A (Monday-Friday)

Job Purpose

This position analyzes, evaluates and designs new application functionality as well as modifies existing applications and programs. The position directly works with the Data Base Administrators during system upgrade activities. This position will analyze/support day to day issues and/or activities reported by the business, as well as, design potential solutions for these issues and then develop the recommended solution.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities

• DevelopStored Procedures, Functions, Packages, and Triggers using Java or Object-oriented programming, SQL and PL/SQL.
• Develop test plans to evaluate new designs as well as test plans to prove out bug fixes.
• Provide ongoing support to select Application(s) system and interfaces of that application.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Min 2 year of related experience
• Analysis, design and implementation of business solutions using the Oracle Relational Database Management System
• Application support and development using PL/SQL, SQL *Plus developer
• Ability to communicate effectively and work with all levels within the organization
