Millwright maintains industrial machinery and equipment using hoists, lift trucks, hand and power tools. Moves, assembles, installs or dismantles machinery. Being a Millwright interprets schematic diagrams, blueprints, and sketches. Analyzes plans for new equipment and maps out space to unpack and assemble new equipment. Additionally, Millwright troubleshoots problems and repairs or replaces worn or broken parts as necessary. May use equipment like forklifts, aerial lifters, and cranes to move heavy or unwieldy machinery. May perform welding, fabrication, or calibration as needed. Follows all work site safety requirements and regulations. Typically requires a high school diploma. May require OSHA Forklift Operator Certification. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Job Title: Millwright
Location: Within Uinta and Powder River (on wellsite)
The Millwright will complete both preventative and remedial maintenance to the range of equipment used by Field Solutions. This will ensure the Sahara packages run efficiently and can operate as intended. Duties include servicing, repairing, troubleshooting, adjusting, testing, and documenting machinery conditions. The successful candidate will be required to travel to oil and gas completions field locations to perform a variety of routine equipment service and maintenance related activities.

What You’ll Be Doing:
· Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment related issues. Includes, but not limited to, diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems and components, mechanical drive components (gears, belts, etc.).
· Troubleshoot electrical systems (VFD’s, 24V / 120V / 480V systems), and installation of electrical components (motors, e-stops, relays, etc.)
· Dis-assembles, repairs and re-assembles as necessary to maintain pumps, motors and auxiliary equipment.
· Repair equipment as required and under the direction of the maintenance department. Both field and shop service will be required.
· Perform preventative maintenance on various pieces of equipment based on OEM recommendations and maintenance department direction.
· Provide remote support via phone to field crews to help diagnose issues.
· Use manuals/documentation to source specific parts, using information from the field to determine necessary parts and/or service;
· Document and update service records of equipment to maintain a historical record.
· Assist with development and conduct training and a handbook with operational crews in preventative maintenance checks and services, including how to properly conduct basic and intermediate repairs;
· Assist with part sourcing and ordering along with general shop organization.
· Monitor issues and conduct root cause and trend analysis;
· Other duties as required.
Who We’re Looking For:
· Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a mechanical capacity with exposure to both field and shop work;
· Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot a variety of equipment related issues;
· Familiar with standard electrical practices, and experience with 480V/3 phase motors and systems.
· Can read electrical prints and technical data sheets. Will include interacting with OEM suppliers to get required parts/service.
· Exposure to heavy equipment, diesel engines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and mechanical components.
· Additional experience in oilfield, sand or industrial work is an asset;
· Self-starter with the ability to proactively manage workload;
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
· Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists;
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;
· Must be able to meet deadlines and successfully handle time pressures and stress;
· Ability to hold valid tickets including: H2S, First Aid, Fall Arrest, WHMIS, TDG, Wilderness Awareness
· Ability to travel to oil and gas completions work sites and support business units, requiring extended travel to remote locations and/or overnight stay(s) outside normal office area; and
· Position requires travel up to 80% of working time and includes requirement to work weekends and willingness and availability to be on call beyond regular work hours.

Nice to Have:
· Previous frac experience is preferred
· First Aid & H2S certifications are not required but are considered an asset
· Previous exposure to oilfield equipment and maintenance.
· Exposure to automation or PLC controlled components.
