Millwright maintains industrial machinery and equipment using hoists, lift trucks, hand and power tools. Moves, assembles, installs or dismantles machinery. Being a Millwright interprets schematic diagrams, blueprints, and sketches. Analyzes plans for new equipment and maps out space to unpack and assemble new equipment. Additionally, Millwright troubleshoots problems and repairs or replaces worn or broken parts as necessary. May use equipment like forklifts, aerial lifters, and cranes to move heavy or unwieldy machinery. May perform welding, fabrication, or calibration as needed. Follows all work site safety requirements and regulations. Typically requires a high school diploma. May require OSHA Forklift Operator Certification. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Millwright works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Millwright typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.     Schedule: Monday through Thursday 4 PM to 2:30 AM

    Responsibilities:
    • Preventative maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, VFDs, soft starts and production machines
    • Determine changes in dimensional requirements Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments
    • Fabricate repair parts  and remove defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, hand, and power tools
    • Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventories, reporting stock needs to purchasing
    • Place purchase requests and verify receipt
    • Prepare maintenance reports
    • Attend educational workshops and review technical publications
    • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
    • Perform all tasks safely and comply with all company and OSHA regulations

    Requirements:
    • Associate degree in industrial maintenance or accredited Millwright certification or training program preferred
    • Five years of related working experience required
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Ability to plan and prioritize tasks in a self-directed work environment
    • Skilled at reading documents such as specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints
    • Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 100lbs, repetitive lifting 30 lbs
    • Comfortable staying active all day
    • Willing to work a flexible schedule
