Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment in our facility. This is a full-time position that offers competitive pay and benefits. Duties: - Install, dismantle, and move machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, and other specifications - Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance - Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using various tools and equipment - Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments - Fabricate parts as needed to complete repairs or modifications - Perform electrical work such as wiring motors, troubleshooting electrical systems, and working with high voltage and low voltage systems - Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on machinery to identify potential issues before they become major problems - Analyze mechanical problems and develop solutions to improve efficiency and productivity - Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders, document repairs, and maintain accurate records Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of a recognized Millwright apprenticeship program or equivalent experience - Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals - Proficient in stick welding and other welding techniques - Knowledge of electrical systems including high voltage and low voltage - Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance tracking is preferred - Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written - Ability to work independently or as part of a team Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
