We are seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join our team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, rigging and repairing machinery and equipment in our industrial facility. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex mechanical systems.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, rig and repair machinery and equipment according to blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer specifications
- Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues or malfunctions
- Diagnose mechanical problems and develop effective solutions
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed using various tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of machinery
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Millwright in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Proficiency in hydraulic systems and troubleshooting
- Able to wrench on nuts and bolts to the proper torque spec.
- Experience with HVAC/R systems is a plus
- Ability to fabricate parts using welding and machining techniques
- Field service or technical sales experience is beneficial
