Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Foreman. As a Foreman, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing construction projects from start to finish. You will work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with all safety regulations.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise construction projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating activities
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress and manage budgets
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other construction documents
- Monitor project timelines and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and ensure compliance with contract specifications
- Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs, change orders, and progress reports
Skills:
- Leading/managing a crew
- Skid steer and/or excavator experience
- Hauling trailers
- Capable of reading blueprints
- Understanding of elevations and slopes
- Operating power tools appropriately
- Concrete- Flatwork, Finishing, foundation walls and formwork
- Basic plumbing and Basic electrical work.
- General construction processes
- Able to assemble kits using instructions.
