Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project specifications and requirements. - Coordinate and supervise a team of carpenters and other construction workers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. - Assign tasks and provide guidance to team members, ensuring work is performed according to industry standards and safety regulations. - Oversee quality control measures to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. - Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to plan and execute construction projects effectively. - Estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for carpentry projects. - Monitor project progress, identify any issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed. - Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and material usage.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry. - In-depth knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team of carpenters. - Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Solid understanding of quality control principles in carpentry work. - Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipment. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
