Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Landscape Foreman to join our team. As a Landscape Foreman, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces for residential and commercial clients. This is a hands-on position that requires knowledge and experience in various landscaping tasks, including hardscaping, tree care, and groundskeeping.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a team of landscape workers in daily operations
- Plan and execute landscape projects, including garden design, tree care, and landscape maintenance
- Install and maintain hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls
- Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees according to landscape plans
- Assist with snow plowing and ice removal during winter months
- Operate and maintain various hand tools and power equipment
- Supervise and participate in lawn care activities such as mowing, trimming, and edging
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols
- Ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences
- Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary materials and equipment
- Train and mentor team members on proper landscaping techniques
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional customer service
