Mine Manager is responsible for the overall management of mining projects. Assists in staffing, outlining project plans, setting project goals/deadlines, and evaluating performance. Being a Mine Manager ensures the safety and health of mine workers. Recommends corrective action when problems are detected. Additionally, Mine Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. May require certification by the MSHA. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Mine Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Mine Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. We are currently seeking a results-driven manager with a passion for excellence for an exciting career opportunity. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 2- 3 years demonstrated leadership abilities (casual dining a plus but not required).
Restaurant Managers report to the General Manager and assist in leading the operations of the restaurant and a team of 40 hourly associates. Applebee's managers work 5 day work weeks, 50 hours including nights, weekends and some holidays. Ideal candidate must have a commitment to quality and passion for exceptional guest service as well as the following skills/abilities:
