Mine Manager is responsible for the overall management of mining projects. Assists in staffing, outlining project plans, setting project goals/deadlines, and evaluating performance. Being a Mine Manager ensures the safety and health of mine workers. Recommends corrective action when problems are detected. Additionally, Mine Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. May require certification by the MSHA. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Mine Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Seeking a manager for two small restaurants in Westerly, RI. This person must be a “people person” to be able to deal with staff and customers alike. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
We are looking for someone that will buy into the culture of the restaurant(s) and be able to hold staff accountable without being that classic tyrannical restaurant manager you see on TV. Someone to be the final set of eyes at the end of the day that will hold themselves accountable to finish any tasks that have not been completed.Ideally, this person will have FOH and BOH experience but both are not absolutely required if the candidate shines in one area over the other. The ability to delegate but also pitch in where needed is an absolute must.This position pays between $22-$26 per hour, with starting pay based on experience with benefits/profit sharing available to the right candidate.
