Mine Manager is responsible for the overall management of mining projects. Assists in staffing, outlining project plans, setting project goals/deadlines, and evaluating performance. Being a Mine Manager ensures the safety and health of mine workers. Recommends corrective action when problems are detected. Additionally, Mine Manager may require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. May require certification by the MSHA. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Mine Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer with a passion for renewable energy to lead clients, projects, and portfolios as a Project Manager. The Project Manager will work closely with our core renewables team and will manage project responsibilities of multi-discipline teams and projects throughout the northeast.
Qualified candidates will excel at contributing to all phases of Renewable Energy and other Civil Engineering projects including the development of schematic drawings, working within teams in a collaborative manner, producing effective and high-quality drawings to be issued for construction, steering projects through the municipal or state approval process, and supporting projects throughout construction as they progress to commissioning. The ability to communicate effectively using verbal, graphic, and written means is paramount and a necessity for this position.
In addition, the Project Manager will assist with proposal writing and business development, and manage mid-level and entry-level staff.
