Troubleshoots system problems and issues and looks for ways to improve the application. Being a Mobile Applications Developer may require a bachelor's degree. Has knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., iOS, Android etc.). Additionally, Mobile Applications Developer typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. To be a Mobile Applications Developer typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience. Our client is looking for an Applications Developer for a 2 month contractor opportunity located onsite in Phoenix, AZ.
This position serves as a technical expert for the Department's software applications. Develops new applications to meet functional and technical designs. Fixes and develops changes to applications to meet functional and technical designs following best practices and development standards and guidelines. Analyzes and resolves issues in applications. Proactively solves complex problems. Supports production systems; analyzes and resolves production problems in a timely manner; resolves end user service requests as assigned. Completes unit and system test application changes to ensure system integrity. Engages with business analysts and stakeholders to understand functional requirements, and contributes to completion of functional specifications. Prepares technical documentation on application specifications, prepares and interprets project documentation. Creates deliverables according to the Software Development Lifecycle such as functional and technical specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentation. Perform other duties as assigned.
