    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    Range USA is seeking a talented and versatile Mobile App Developer to join our dynamic Web Development team. The role involves building, maintaining, and supporting Range USA’s new mobile application. The app will be published in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, so the candidate must have expertise in development for both the iOS and Android platforms. Ideally, the candidate will also have experience in web development not specific to mobile platforms, with the ability to contribute to broader development efforts.


    Please be prepared to present a portfolio or repository of your work. This is an in-person, full-time, on-site position in Cincinnati, Ohio [No contract-to-hire, no remote option].


    JOB DESCRIPTION:


    • Develop and maintain a high-quality mobile application for iOS and Android platforms.
    • Support full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including design, testing, and release.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize features and enhancements.
    • Participate in peer code review, conduct unit testing, perform troubleshooting, and implement bug fixes in a timely manner.
    • Manage app submission process for Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
    • Complete web development tasks for projects not related to the mobile app.
    • Perform QA testing and contribute to process improvement.
    • Provide exceptional customer service and on-call support when required.

    • Mobile app design principles and UI/UX best practices.
    • Deep Code Analysis, Multi-system Integration, Failure Investigation, and Unit Testing.
    • Mobile programming languages: Swift, Objective-C, Java, Kotlin, React Native, Xcode, etc.
    • Standard programming languages and frameworks: C#, Java, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, LINQ, Spring Boot, Vue.js (Front End Framework), Redux (State Management), Laravel (Back End Framework), Object Oriented experience, Object Relational Mapping.
    • Database and Data Processing: SQL, MS SQL, SSIS, SSRS, API, Microservice, WebAPI Framework, Message Oriented Middleware, MSMQ, ESB, Apache Kafka.
    • Containerization and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
    • Data Visualization and Analytics: Looker, Tableau.
    • WCF and WS (Web Service) Extensions.
    • Server-side technologies and cloud services: Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
    • DevOps, Continuous Deployment, and Continuous Integration systems.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


    Requirements:


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
    • Minimum 2 years of mobile app development experience; proficiency in iOS and Android platforms or React Native.
    • Ability to teach or mentor other members of the team for cross training purposes.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Experience working in Agile development environments.
