Summary of Duties:

• Administers, maintains, and supports the Jira application
• Work with IT and customers in the business to effectively and efficiently use Jira, including implementing best practices for use of the application
• Maintain and configure updates and upgrades to Jira and coordinates application lifecycle to keep software up to the latest version
• Define best practices to continually improve data integrity
• Assesses customer needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to assist in identifying business priorities and advises on options
• Analyzes existing information systems and applications to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvements.
• Assist with testing and duplicating unknown software problems reported from the customer-base
• Plans, schedules, and coordinates a variety of projects related to customer support activities with minimal supervisory guidance
• Follows the IT change management process for executing production changes
• Participates in the regular Governance Board discussions
• Develops and maintains documentation for assigned applications which may include Configuration Management Plan, System Requirements Document, Software Quality Assurance Plan, Knowledge Base Articles, and Statements of Work
