Mobile Applications Developer is responsible for developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining mobile applications. Troubleshoots system problems and issues and looks for ways to improve the application. Being a Mobile Applications Developer may require a bachelor's degree. Has knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., iOS, Android etc.).     The primary focus of this position is an application development team member that will perform the development and maintenance of DMH enterprise applications using C#, SQL Server, and MVC. Duties include analysis, design, coding, code reviews, testing, implementation, and mentoring. Personal interactions with Business Owners and other team members are required, as is research and troubleshooting of complex problems. The successful candidate for this position needs to have a technical background. Candidate must be effective at working collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently as circumstances dictate.

    This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division supporting the Department of Mental Health (DMH).

    • Analysis, design, and development.
    • Code review.
    • Testing and implementation of projects.
    • Direct interaction and advisement of DMH Business owners and other team members
    • Create, adhere to, and enforce technical standards

    All you need for success:

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle.
    • Experience in ASP.Net MVC framework.
    • Development experience using C#, JQuery, Javascript, and SQL servers is required.
    • Familiar with Responsive Web Design.
    • Familiar with Agile development.
    • Good communication skills.
    • Experience with Azure DevOps, Mulesoft Anypoint, Nintex K2, and Sharepoint is a plus.
    • Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate’s name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.

    Knowledge of the core programming language used in the assigned area. Knowledge of computer logic statements and their applications. Ability to learn and apply concepts. Ability to perform basic mathematics. Ability to provide logical and innovative ideas, and think critically to resolve issues. Ability to communicate with staff, management, and agency personnel.
