Mobile Applications Developer, Sr. jobs in Colorado Springs, CO

The Mobile Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mobile applications from start to finish. This role requires the successful execution and deep understanding of mobile application development processes, including conceptualization, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-friendly, scalable, and innovative mobile solutions for the global ministry. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Every Home for Christ. 
• Adheres to the Biblical standards of moral conduct, EHC vision statement, EHC statement of faith, EHC’s Employee standards and policies, EHC’s Covenant of Harmony and upholds Every Home for Christ’s ministry in prayer.
• Develop mobile applications for various platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) using appropriate programming languages (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, Java, etc).
• Collaborate with project owners, designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional mobile applications.
• Develop new user-facing features for all existing and future mobile applications.
• Provide maintenance for all existing mobile apps.
• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient APIs that meet the functional needs of mobile applications.
• Integrate APIs with existing backend systems and databases.
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
• Review and test existing code-base or technical integrations for various projects.
• Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support).
• Help improve code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews.
• Managing organization and backups of all source files, and documentation.
• Research industry best practices and new technologies or tools. 
• Integrate with our backend services to make sure we are delivering a great mobile user experience that’s fast and stable for end users.
• Provide assistance in other areas as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
• Active participation/attendance at a local church
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
• Experience: 3-5 years of mobile app programming experience
• Experience in related programming language (Java, Kotlin, Obj C, C , Swift, etc)
• Believes strongly in the mission and strategy of Every Home for Christ
• Possess strong passion for evangelism, discipleship, prayer
• Experience and thorough understanding of related programming languages such as java, Obj. C, Swift, etc required.
• Expert in Swift programming.
• Expert in Kotlin programming.
• Strong knowledge of Java programming.
• Experience in using Swift UI.
• Ability to design and develop APIs.
• Ability to self-motivate, take initiative, make independent decisions, and solve problems.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment and work independently.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to maintain relationships and partnerships.
• Maintain a systematic and organized approach to accurately, thoroughly, and timely completing assignments.
• Ability to collaborate with various departments and team with grace, compassion and humility
•  Strong ability to effectively communicate cross culturally with respect and grace; embodying the values of the ministry
