    Role:

    The Sr. Developer position is a new position reporting to the Solution Architecture team within the IT organization. This role works with Program Managers to understand requirements and is responsible for estimating development and test efforts, documenting the technical design of solutions, implementing code to achieve the design, and documenting deployment and creating operations guides. This position requires a cross-functional technical skillset that enables end-to-end solution delivery. Knowledge of MS SQL, SSIS, MS CRM, and JavaScript is essential. C#, HTML, and CSS are a must.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Use best industry best practices for solution development.
    • Deliver custom code to integrate platforms.
    • Customize MS CRM forms using JavaScript.
    • Own feature requests for extension of CRM integrations with other bank systems.
    • Build and maintain databases and data objects.
    • Facilitate database maintenance including monitoring, tuning, query optimization, index management, stored procedures, and views.
    • Manage database security and security management.
    • Create ETL process leveraging SSIS to move data from the source to target systems, including data cleaning and value mapping.
    • Manage established data update procedures.
    • Tune existing SQL queries and database objects.
    • Respond to bug reports and enhancement requests from clients.
    • Research and resolve service tickets.
    • Actively participate in team meetings and solution design activities
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience

    BS in Computer science and a minimum of twelve years IT experience. Experience should include strong operational knowledge and five or more years doing web development, and an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge and abilities to do the job. Demonstrated commitment to continued growth and learning desired.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Expert knowledge of:
      • JavaScript
      • Microsoft SQL Server
      • T-SQL
        • Fluent in SQL query for troubleshooting, data integration, and report writing.
        • Fluent with creating, optimizing, and maintaining Stored Procedures, Views, Triggers, Functions, Linked Servers, and scheduling DB maintenance jobs.
      • ETL Tools -- particularity SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS) Database Import/export.
      • Web-based data transport APIs (e.g.: REST, SOAP)
      • .Net Framework and .NET Core are needed.
    • Experience working with both structured and unstructured data.
    • Solid foundation in database design and functionality.
    • Experience in query optimization, debugging, and performance tuning.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Able to work independently and within a team environment.
    • Able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and manage time efficiently.
    • Experience in Jscriptm is a must.
    • RESTful microservices API Developer (.NetCore) is a must.
    • Experience with MS Dynamics CRM.
    • Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
    • Demonstrates instinctive business acumen and critical thinking skills.
    • Proactively builds and maintains positive relationships by portraying an approachable and open-minded outlook.
    • Is a team player, willing to help out as needed and keep team informed of status and needs.
    • Exhibits active listening techniques and is open to feedback and continual improvement.
    • Uses and understands Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
    • Is professional in dress, speech and manners.
